Threading V Waxing

Most girls can tell that red, swollen, just had waxed eye brow look, well I certainly can, but that hasn't put me off waxing. I have been going through the pain for five years now. In October 2011 I tried threading for the first time, it's just as painful as waxing... so I converted back to my old ways.

I was suggested to try threading again by a friend,
(for my local readers - the salon I was recommended is at Afreen Fashion and Beauty, where eye brow threading costs £4, 181 Constitution Street, Edinburgh - visit www.afreenfashions.com or www.facebook.com/afreenfashions

I have got to say it is definitely less painful a second time and you do not have the redness or swelling as you do from waxing.

A little more than skin deep
Threading is the removal of facial hair derived from Asia and the Middle East. Hair is removed using cotton thread which is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin, entwining the unwanted hairs in the thread, they are then lifted from the follicle with an even tension.
It's an art.
Treading avoids irritation and skin rashes as the top layer of skin is not stripped off. Also because threading is natural process it is highly recommended for sensitive skin.
