Travel Interview - Marrakech, Spa and Shopping packages

Absolutely Marrakech
Even in the current economic climate there is still an increase in short breaks. This isn’t uncommon for Britain, due to weather, stress, and to celebrate special occasions. This can also help us feel a little more like our favourite ‘A Listers’. Kati Lawrence is offering exactly this with her newly founded company Absolutely Marrakech.

Absolutely Marrakech is company set up to let clients pamper themselves, shop and spend a special occasion in the sunshine of one of the most up and coming cities. At the moment this luxury experience will only be on offer to people in and around Edinburgh. “My target clients are second time or mature brides that want another option to a wild hen party, mature girl weekends away and the over 30’s…I’ll meet clients at Edinburgh to accompany them on the plane and give each of them their luxury Moroccan themed goody bag”.
There are four stages of accommodation of ranging from budget all the way up to luxury. The spa packages and treatments are consistent throughout the stages but the accommodation varies. To the left is one of the raids Kati had designed.

The spa treatments on offer are manicures, pedicures, facials but more importantly your Moroccan treatments. All products used are organic and natural and produced in Morocco.

Beauty Buys

The excitement of Ibiza is kicking in.
I <3 packing and I started a plastic box under my bed filled with all the toiletries that I will need for my 3 months there.
Star of the hit US TV programme The Hills Lauren Conrad (who is my idol as she has an amazing career which I would die for) has a book called Style out at the moment which includes a very helpful packing guide
As I have heard that Ibiza is extortionate for beauty products and toiletries.

I made a list of the basics and the quantity I would need.

I went round Boots, Superdrug, Asda John Lewis, Poundland to get my bargains.

Hair
Aussie Hair Products are great for dry hair (the sun and sun totally dry hair out), Especially 3 minute miracles which works and smells amazing
Boots are doing 3 for £10 at the moment
*also you can now collect Boots points whilst shopping online at ASOS and New Look*

Sun cream
Its assumed that the lower the factor the better you tan.
In actual fact the lower the tan the more often you need to apply it.
I tan very well and I use factor 20 and 30 Garnier Ambre Solaire
Boots - £10.98 per bottle at the moment the promotion is buy one get one free
John Lewis "never knowing undersold" are selling it for £5 a bottle
Asda also have great deals on sun cream
and surprising Matalan is the cheapest place to buy Hawaiian Tropic

Face Wipes
I think Johnsons Baby Wipes are just as good a specialised face wipes
they come in decent sized packets for £1 at Poundland.
